Bon Voyage
Well, here we go. Are we crazy? Do we know what we're getting ourselves into?
There's no turning back now. Today Erin, and I leave for our 4 month backpacking adventure in Africa! 11 Countries await us! It seems so surreal, but we are so excited.
We packed up last night and Danielle, (Erin's sister who'll be staying in our house) decided she'd try our packs out. After picking up Erin's pack she siad, "I'd never make it!" They're really not that bad.
Our morning started with some excitment. I was at the barn finishing some last minute work, when Erin informed me that she couldn't find our immunization records, which are crucial for getting visa's into some countries. After looking erverywhere, I ended up making a very quick trip to Public Health to get new ones. Good thing our flight wasn't early. I guess we've got our first small taste of some of the problems that will surely arise on our trips
Well, we leave in just a few minutes. Thanks so much for all the prayers and well wishes. We're going to miss most of you! We'll do our very best to keep you all posted as to where we are and what's been happening. Have a nice winter!

Thanks for saying, "We're going to miss most of you!" When you get back home, will you tell us who was actually missed? We will miss you (that is you, Brian and Erin). Hope that's clear! Blessings.
