The Journey Begins
As of Monday, November 6 (less than a month away!) our "dream" trip to Africa becomes a reality. It's hard to believe that it's come so quickly. Many people have been requesting an itinerary so here it is:
- We fly out of Buffalo on Nov. 6 at 3:30pm.
- We arrive in Casablanca, Morocco sometime the following day
- We will spend a week in Morocco and then travel through the Sahara desert into Mauritania.
- Nov. 27 we fly from Nouakchott, Mauritania, to Cairo, Egypt.
- We will be staying in Egypt for about a month before heading to Burundi on December 23 where we will spend Christmas with Doug and Deanna
- After this, our timeline is flexible and we plan to travel by land down the East Coast
- We plan to travel through Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Namibia, and then finish up in South Africa.
- We fly back into Buffalo on March 9

Hey Brian and Erin! I will be thinking of you while you are gone! May God protect you as you are traveling for four months! It's too bad that you couldn't find anyone else to replace you for Jr. Youth while you are gone! We will miss you guys a lot! Praying for you,

Hey guys, glad to see you're on your way! Hope you're having fun at this moment, and just remember, there's snow back here in Canadiana so that should help you to stick it out! Love you guys! Hope God just bugs out your eyes with everything and that you don't want to come back (and that you make millions somehow, and then invite us to stay with you in your amazing place of ministry where people come to Christ by the billions and we live with the wild buffalo) Love you guys!
